Splicers: tape vs. cement - HELP!

I'm not sure why one on ebay would be more likely to not have a scraper.
Just make sure you get one that's not broken and you should be OK.
My Bauer is really nice and works great, and I got it on ebay.

But the big question is, IS THAT REALLY YOU IN THE PICTURE?

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">The LPL is the one that is sometimes mising the BASE SIDE scraper. It is a loose piece so it gets lost easily. It also has a emulsion side scraper that is attached so that one is always there. Here is one on ebay that does have the extra scraper.

The LPL is a great value since you can pick em up for $15 or less. The Bolex is a little better but they go for $50 or more.
